Tropical rainforest flora produce 20% of the Earth's oxygen. This is not surprising since two-thirds of the world's plant species are found in tropical rainforests. The rainforest plays a crucial role in maintaining Earth at a stable temperature. The flora absorbs the planet's carbon dioxide, maintains global rainfall, and regulates the world's climate. 25% of our pharmaceuticals are produced from rainforest flora, even though scientists have only tested 1% of all rainforest plants. Rainforest flora is highly diverse...the fern being only one example of what can be found on the rainforest floor. Global Warming Wear would like to present our Ferntastic print featuring fern foliage and the poinciana, or peacock flower plant.
